When we were in design with our fantastic clients (Rick + Ginger Geyer) and the team at Steinbomer, Bramwell & Vrazel our client pitched the idea of a “moving wall”. They had visions of it doubling as a partition between the public space (Living Room) and his private space (home office). For movie nights, it would be spun around and used as a projection screen. In between, it would provide much needed storage for our empty nester clients.
Big kudos to Project Manger James Talley and our carpentry team who figured out a cost effective design (utilizing scrap lumber for the most part) that made the wall safe (toppling was a huge concern) and functional.
