Habitat volunteers include experts from within the industry, those who have never touched a paint brush, and everyone in between.
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) falls into the first category, they know the ins and outs of every aspect of the building process. And they’re certainly the group you want to call for the heavy lifting.
On June 1, members of NARI’s Austin chapter got together for just that. Chris Risher joined the crew for the project’s wall standing and by the end of the day, the frame of the house was complete.
Habitat for Humanity is one of our favorite organizations, directly helping those within our community through construction. If you’d like to learn more about local happenings with Habitat for Humanity, please visit their website here: https://www.austinhabitat.org/
