This month’s Architect Spotlight features the team over at Weiss Architecture.
The firm’s namesake and head architect, Richard Weiss, AIA, along with Project Manager & Architectural Designer, Laura Salmo, work on both residential and commercial projects spanning the state.
We’ve had the privilege of working with this talented team on a diverse array of projects, including single-family residential, multi-family residential, and commercial. They consistently deliver professional and skillfully crafted designs.
Our Westlake Overlook, featured in Austin’s American Institute of Architecture’s (AIA) 2013 Homes Tour, was designed by Weiss Architecture and serves as both the firm’s headquarters and Richard Weiss’s personal home. With a focus beyond appealing design aesthetics, green techniques are a common feature in many of their projects. The folks at Austin Energy Green Building recently released a case study featuring Westlake Overlook’s 5-Star Rating.
With design credits including the Alamo Drafthouse and Galaxy Cafe franchises to name a few, Weiss Architecture is definitely a firm to watch. Find more information on the firm and see more of their unique work here.
