This existing residence needed significant renovations beyond what was economically feasible for the Owners of 27 years. Ultimately they decided to build a smaller home in its place to accommodate their needs. The lot has a unique shape, steep slopes and restrictive easements. The resulting home is responsive to and respectful of the site. Creative use of economical building materials enhanced the design while honoring the budget. The Owner’s passion for art and architecture are reflected in the modern simplicity of the house, both inside and out.
