Earlier this year, in partnership with Milestone Communities, we donated a kitchen remodel which was auctioned off at the Boys and Girls Club of Austin gala to raise money for this worthy organization. The owners of a Pemberton home won the auction and we started work on their home last week. One of the primary design objectives was to open up the space, by removing several interior walls, which is a common request from our clients. In this case the answer was a 30′ long, 4-ply girder truss. It makes for a very interesting video, so check it out:
